Camping (more like Cabining) 2009 - Fox Lake, WI

This past weekend was our annual camping trip with my college girl friends. We took a little detour from the normal tent camping and chose to go with a cabin. We had our girls and my friends, Amanda and Todd, had their son, Cole (who's 5 weeks younger than the girls), with them. Thank goodness we went with the cabin. It was so incredibly chilly and rainy that I couldn't imagine being in a tent with two 7 month olds.

Below we have Melanie on the left and Madison on the right. This photo was taken on Saturday after a pretty long day for the girls. They didn't quite get in their afternoon naps and they were both ready for a good dinner. Green beans and cereal were on the menu.

Here's Leslie with Melanie.
Here's Tina with Madison.

Cole is in the middle with his ladies on each arm. Melanie on the left, Madison on the right. Remember, Cole is 5 weeks younger than the girls are. He's so much longer! I suppose his dad being about a foot taller than Al and I might explain that. :)

Here's Madison in her Bumbo in front of the fire.

The family photo. This was taken on Sunday when, of course, the weather cleared up and was sunny and gorgeous. Still chilly, but the day before was so windy and rainy. I've got Melanie and Al's got Madison.

Unfortunately, our friends Nate, Tasha and their girls couldn't make it. We missed them considering we all really only see each other about once a year, but hopefully we'll be able to all get together at the Dells this winter.
