Labor Day Weekend

The Enriques had a pretty busy Labor Day weekend. On Saturday, the Pyevichs came down for a visit from Wausau, WI. We met them at them at the Taste of Serbia in Lake Forest, IL. Also there was Brian's parents from the Quad Cities and our friends, the Vassilevs. The weather was perfect for listening to some Serbian music and dining on BBQ Lamb, Cevapcici (Serb Sausages), Burek (Meat-filled Phillo), Palacinke (crepes), and some Krempita (the biggest creme puffs ever). Although the girls could not enjoy the food, they were happy with the company.

On Sunday, Brian and I got to enjoy a round of golf. The twins and Katy hung out with Kristy, Lily, and Lauren. They got to enjoy the park in the neighborhood. Lauren ran Jackson all the way home. Thank you Lauren, Jackson was popped for 2 days! That afternoon, I unfortunately had a fantasy football draft with a call-in. For you that don't know about fantasy drafts, a call-in means a extra long draft day. Because the draft ran long, we weren't able to hang out with the Pyevich's that night. It was good though to relax for a couple of hours.

On Monday, my mom, brother Joe and sister-in-law, Rupal came over for a little Labor Day lunch. Again we had great weather. We ended the weekend having dinner with our friends, April and Shane Huckstadt, and Leah and Jason Sandri. It was the twins first time at Olive Garden and they loved it!

Although it may have been 14 years since Ilian has held a baby, he hasn't lost anything. Melanie fell asleep in his arms.
