For her first Mother's Day, Katy wanted to spend the day at home with her husband and her little girls with no other obligations. It was nice and relaxing. We want to again wish all of Mother's in our lives a Happy Mother's Day.
We spent Saturday morning with Grandma Delia since we were not going to see her on Mother's Day. She as always enjoys seeing her granddaughters.
Also on Saturday, my cousin Ed's son Josh had his first commuion. Family and friends celebrated Josh's commuion at Bob Chin's Seafood Restaurant. Josh is pictured above with the girls. We got to take the picture towards the end of the party. Josh did look extremely handsome with his suit on before he took it off. To Kate and my satifaction, Madison and Melanie did great at the restaurant. Madison and Melanie got to finally meet a lot of our friends that have not seen them yet. We can't wait to see everybody again. Congratulations again Joshua! Below, Kate is picture with Melanie. We've been extremely lucky for 3 months to have two very healthly girls. Unfortunatley Melanie came down with a cold that she is finally getting over with. As expected, Madison just picked it up. Other than that, the girls are doing great. They are sleeping 4 to 5 hour stretches at night. One night, Madison slept for 11 hours. We think it was a fluke because she hasn't come close to that amount of time since. While on her tummy, Melanie can hold herself up. Not for long, but it's a start.
