Weekend with the Weiss Family

The weekend before Christmas, we drove up to Chippewa Falls to visit our good friends, Nate and Tasha Weiss and their daughters, Natalee and Abbi. We don't get to see them that often so we were all definitely excited. Since Chippewa Falls is about 5 hours up North. We thought it would be a good break for the twins if we stopped half way and visited Marcia at work. The girls got to meet a lot of Marcia's coworkers who look at the blog often. (Thanks for visiting the blog!) We also got to eat lunch at the River Mill. Below is a picture of the girls with Marcia at her desk.

The Weisses, Weiss' (Whichever is the correct Plural form) are always great hosts. We are always treated to great home cooked meals (Home made Pizza, slow-cooked ribs.) Tasha always makes it look so easy! Katy and I usually get our venison fix while we're up there too. Natalee and Abbi were such good girls to the twins. They played with and shared all their toys with them. The twins had a great time. They even got a beard rub from Grandpa Mike. They sure won't be able to get that from daddy.

Nate's sister Erin graduated from College and her boyfriend, Mitch's family threw her a nice party. Mitch's family has a beautiful home and everybody was extremely friendly. We had a nice time relaxing.

It was great seeing the Weisses, Mike and Cindy, and Nate's family. We hope we can come up to visit again soon. Thank you Nate and Tasha for the girls' glow worms. They snuggle with them every night in their crib.

Most importantly, we defiantly like to give a big thank you to Marcia and Gary for taking care of Jackson during the weekend. (We owe you one.) Not only did they take care of him that weekend, they kept him until they visited on Christmas. That gave Katy and I a good break. It was definitely helpful during the days before the holiday, wrapping gifts and what-nots. Jackson gets a lot of freedom to run up there that we're not really sure if he's happy being back!
